It turns out my idea has been done before. And it was done very nicely.

Geez, that was traumatizing
Aside from getting a B on the exam because I fucked up on the naming portion (I didn’t miss points on writing ‘Pinna’ for ‘Pinda,’ but I forgot about Edgar the Peaceable and forgot that the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle was in Old English and that the Beaker Hill Folk used metal), there was also the lovely story of the martyrdom of St. Thomas a Beckett.
